1. Natural marble

Advantages: Natural patterns, good hand feel after polishing, high hardness, much more wear-resistant compared to artificial ones, not afraid of coloring, with pores that can penetrate.

Disadvantages: Some parts have radiation, natural stones are brittle, have low flatness, and are prone to breakage. The connection between stones is very obvious, and seamless splicing cannot be achieved, which is prone to bacterial growth, insufficient elasticity, difficult to repair, and rapid temperature changes can cause cracking.

2. Artificial marble

Advantages: No radiation, diverse colors, relatively natural flexibility, unclear connections between stones, strong overall sense!

Disadvantages: Chemical synthetic substances are harmful to the human body, have low hardness, are afraid of scratching, scalding, and coloring.

The most attractive aspect of natural marble is its natural texture. After millions of years of polishing by nature, natural marble possesses unparalleled delicacy and historical accumulation that cannot be compared to imitations. Marble has a natural color that is soft and pleasing to the eye, with rich tones. The texture and color contain infinite variations, making it a masterpiece of nature. Some rare marble tones are still difficult to artificially create, which is the most precious aspect of natural marble.

Artificial marble is mainly made by using crushed stones of natural marble or granite as fillers, cement, gypsum, and unsaturated polyester resin as adhesives, and mixing, grinding, and polishing them to form. Compared to artificial marble, artificial marble has poor transparency, low hardness, is afraid of scratches, burns, and coloring, poor glossiness, slightly rigid patterns, and lacks realism. The relative advantages are low price, easy cleaning, dirt resistance, corrosion resistance, and also easier construction.
